CATALINA GÓMEZ  

Composer, arranger and cultural manager with 15 years of experience in original music composition, arrangements and sound design for theatre plays.

She has worked with Teatro Libre, Exilia2 Teatro and La Navaja de Ockham among other theatre companies in Colombia writing original music for the plays.

 

During the last 12 years she has been the musical director and co-founder of the Compañía Nacional de las Artes (National Company for Arts) for which she has composed original music for more than 20 theatre and cabaret productions. As a composer of academic music her works have been performed in the UK, Mexico and Colombia.

 

Catalina is also the programmer of Banco de la República National Concerts Season that produces over 100 concerts annually in 29 cites in Colombia with an special focus on classical and contemporary music.
